On 5/18 pilot Matt Michael flew his 11.9 meter Maupin Woodstock on a 233 mile declared straight goal out of Ames, Iowa. This flight qualified for Matt's Gold distance as well as breaking the Iowa sports class straight distance and all classses in the declared straight distance.

With little prying, I'm sure Matt would tell the story. Nice job Matt!
