Can anyone assist, I am trying to get my Ipaq3850 running winPilotadv to see a Garmin GPS. I have a garmin serial cable, plugged via a null modem into the Ipaq. (ie connected 2 to 3 , 3 to 2 and 5 straight thru). I have tried both a GPS90 and a 12XL with the same result, 'awaiting GPS..' checking with the TTY program from winpilot, it appears that no data is being transferred.
Ideas please

I am sorry about posting this message, I have spent a few minutes on an Internet search, then realised I had to set up the Garmin for NMEA. I had it set to download packets of airspace and airway updata. Ross
