I spent two weeks in Switzerland last year.
For a complete answer, talk to the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Avaiation (OFAC) at +41 (31) 325 9900; ask for Michel Barras (Office = +41 31 325 9327; Mobile = +41 79 356 3168). The folk at OFAC are all speak English, are very helpful, but somewhat slow, so allow plenty of time.
There are no major problems with the licence if you are flying your own glider, but I'm not sure of all the details, so ask; I have a Swiss licence as well so didn't look into this aspect.
WRT the glider, they will need a copy of the CoA and proof of insurance cover of CHF 3 million. Since we normally insure for £1 million in the UK (~ CHF 2.4 million) you will need to get extra coverage for your time in Switzerland - last year, this cost me £25 for 3 weeks thru Joint Avaiation. You should check that the requirement hasn't changed. Once they have the CofA and the cover note, they will issue you with an authorisation to fly your glider in Switzerland which is nominally valid for one year.
By the way, the insurance has to be in place when you request the authorisation, so make sure you get it set up a week or two ahead of when you want to travel; OFAC was perfectly happy to accept faxed documents and if you explain the situation will turn the document around in a couple of weeks.
Whereabouts do you plan to fly?
