Can anyone give me details of who to contact and when tows will be available for fields east of Minden as far east as Colorado.

I am specifically looking for details on Parowan, Heber, Aspen any ones I overlooked I would like to know of too.

Thanks

the X-C to Kitty Hawk is going well south of the Parawan, Heber route..

they will be in Jean NV in mid June.. heading east .. south of the big ditch... more airports that way..

Walt should be able to answer about Heber.. and I'll send an email off to one who flies at Parawan..

Al,

Last year the Heber operation started towing on a part time basis about the middle of May, and did not have tows available on a regular basis until May 27. They're closed Mon and Tues.

Morgan (Utah) claims to have tows available from sometime in April, they're closed Sun and Mon.

Cache Valley guys in Logan Utah announced tows should be available beginning in April.

Tows are available in Parowan pretty much anytime with prior arrangement, and on a full time basis from middle of May to middle of Sept. This year Parowan will be home base for me.

If you can't make any of these do for you, give me a shout and I'll tow you.

Thanks for the update Walt..

One of the best flying experiences I ever had was packing up a tooth brush, ballast connector, battery charger and a change of clothes in my ASW22 Then flying east to Ely in around 4.0 hours. Next day I flew a 785Km triangle (my longest flight at that time) The last day I flew back to Minden which was a real challenge.

1800 KM in 3 days.

The look on Tom Stowers face as I turned up with the 25M behemoth and no tail dolly was priceless. Anyone want the IGC files email me.
