My family is taking a vacation in Yellowstone the next 2 weeks. Though time hasn't allowed much soaring in my 1-35 these past two years, I'd like to try to fly at a couple locations in this trip. Does anyone have a suggestion on any commercial/club operations near the park or fairly close in neighboring Idaho or Montana? Thanks in advance.

Driggs, Idaho is a few hours away from Yellowstone I think. They've got that whole soar the tetons thing going.

Mike, go to Driggs Idaho on the other side of the mountain from Jackson Hole. Beautiful spot to soar the Tetons.....

Tim As you have been informed already, Driggs, ID is the place. It is located on the west side of the Grand Teton Mnts. which is west of Jackson Hole, Wy. and south of the Park. The Teton Aviation Service site is: www.tetonaviation.com This is a spectacular place to soar with lots of hiking, biking and fishing for the crew.
