I brought a glider to the US from Germany last November (Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme,CA). It cost about $40 in port fees in Germany and $2200 for shipping in California. The line was Walenius-Wilhelmsen. They stopped in GB before heading through the Panama Canal. They do the same on the way back. They have a website. Pretty slick operation.
