I got finally ready the new instrument panel for my Jantar Std 3. It can be viewed here:

The problem: I did read the manual of the new vario Westerboer WV 831 (which was in german) after I installed the instruments. So I found out, that the location of the compass is wrong. Because the manual suggests to install the compass further than 100 mm away sideways from the circular instruments (those two on top of the panel). And not in the same level with the speaker of the main instrument (in the middle of the panel).
The question: Is there any method available to shield the magnetic fields of the circular vario instruments from the compass? Or do I have to remove the compass from the current position, install it on the capote of the panel and fill the hole with the bank&turn indicator which one I didn't plan to use.
