Is there any information on the web regarding the 18m version of the Schleicher Standard class ASW-28? There is a news item on the Schleicher website (http://www.alexander-schleicher.de/Neuigkeiten/ aktuell12.htm) but no mention of performance or cost.

If the 18m performance is comparable to that of the LS8-18, isn't that similar to the 15m ASW-27?

I heard a whisper that someone at AS had predicted a significant increase in performance through some new airfoil section.
