No doubt about it, IF the SSA or the Benevolent Association of Sailplane Racers gets Tom Cruise to star in a movie about an ex-Navy fighter jock that tries to relive his youth by flying a Schweizer 233 at the local strip ('I feel the need...the need for reading glasses.'

AND if the 25 to 55 male audience goes into a spending frenzy ('This money. It is burning a hole in my pocket!'

AND if they call an 800 number found in every magazine in America ('Hello. What is the closest soaring company to my zip code?'

AND they show up and someone treats them like intruders ('Yeah, what?'

, THEN it is all a waste of time, money and effort.
That would leave us with just the operations that see an influx of new people as a source of an improved financial situation. The others would die out. Hmmm. Is that the HMS Beagle I see moored over there?
Independence and a lack of coordination has a price, doesn't it?
