early sailplane video

Around 1979 or 1980 I remember seeing a sailplane video that featured a white sailplane and a black sailplane chasing each other around the sky and doing hi speed passes. Among other things it also featured the pilot or supposed pilot standing while the planes did hi speed passes over his head. If I rember correctly the moral of the story ended up being that both sailplanes and pilot represented 2 sides of the same man...Did anyone else see this or maybe the old Pink Floyd was too loud.

Must admit that I don't recollect ever having seen this video.... (but sounds interesting).

Thanks Copper, it was a great video and one that tweaked my soaring interest. It's possible maybe that it was part of another movie or something but I know I saw it. If I find it I'll let you know.

Yep you're right. It wasn't a video, it was a real movie/film. I recall two gliders one being red the other white. Th ered one was teh guys subconcious or something like that....
Would absolutely like to see it again some time!....

I think the film was based on a short story by Richard Bach, but I'm not positive about this.
