I've been told that in the Duo disturbing reflexion of the front instrument panel can sometimes be seen on the canopy from the rear seat. As my club has to decide whether to go for the tinted canopy or not in our new ship I'd like to hear about the experience of others who have a duo with or without tinted canopy.
Cheers

Reflections are possible in both types of canopies. In general reflection of the front seat instrument panel is no problem. (dark panel with a glare shield) Most disturbing is the reflection in the canopy of a white sun hat of the front seat pilot, So the front seat pilot better wear a dark coloured hat. Also a PDA / gps / camera / etc. that's on the canopy rail near the front seat will reflect in the canopy .
Success with your choice

If you take photos from inside the cockpit get a clear canopy.

Yes, this is true and it can be a problem. However, you can get used to it but I am not sure if a tinted canopy would change anything.

A photo with reflections of the front seat instruments in a clear canopy can be seen on:
