Does anyone know of a 2 position rotary (or toggle) switch that is a 'make before break' type. I know how to use 2 switches to do the same thing but I would like a simple switch that does the same thing. This is to prevent spikes and dropping electrics offline.

A diode does not belong there because it always takes .7 volts of your power.
I think you should realize there are other ways to maintain power for that .1 second. Bye,

Try a caravan or a competition auto shop. Both sometimes use dual batteries
