Of course, you are right. If the tail bag puts the gross weight over the red line, bad luck, no tail balast... I'l love to be lighter... and a little smaller. I'm 1,97mts, and even a couple years ago, when I did sport every day, my weight was around 93 kg. Now I'm some 5kg heavier, and with all the gadgets (drinking water, oxygen, batteries, parachute...) I'm close to the max cockpit weight on most gliders. I don't think you have to worry, Cyndy, even when a perfect CG I'm a long way from being a threat to anyone on the air! I stil have a long way to go and a lot of things to learn.

Does that say something about YOUR tail, Al (somebody or other)?
